About the Role

As a Jr Manual Software Tester, you will join and work closely with Empatica's QA Team in Milan.

In this role, you will get in contact with amazing technology, while obtaining a detailed

understanding of the architecture and the process of development of wearable products.

You will report to our Chief Software Architect and support various tasks related to both new and existing product production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Join the activities regarding testing and validation of our products
• Produce certification reports for the use of our products with different smartphones
• Take care of improving the testing and validation process of our products
• Take care of the inspection of compatibility issues, providing details to replicate the problem
• Collaborate with the Software Quality Assurance team of Empatica in Milan with various tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and timely operations

Important detail:

• Empatica is an international environment with offices in Europe and the US, and so we conduct all our work in English.

You are the ideal person for the Manual Testing role if you:

• Are passionate about technology 
• Are familiar with how web and mobile system works 
• Have some knowledge of the fundamentals of testing and validation
• Are proficient in written and oral communication in a team environment
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Are a fast learner
• Are fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous working experience as tester
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., finance, medical, automotive)
• A diploma or background in IT is a plus
