SUMMARY
What is my purpose?
The Marketing Graphics team generates creative for many reasons, whether it is to inform and educate, create awareness of our products and services, or help our Sales reps pitch to clients. The Jr. Marketing Graphic Designer is responsible for editing and preparing artwork for digital and printed Marketing content such as social media, blogs, email, advertisements, brochures, websites, tradeshow booths and more. Approximately 80% of this role is editing, sizing, and positioning art elements within the optimal layout. You will be adjusting bleed, converting colors, scaling images, and repositioning art elements for artwork that will be viewed on various devices. Occasionally, you will be tasked to help with other projects such as filming and editing video content, taking photos, recording podcasts, and packing up printed parts for company events.

Why is this role exciting?
This role is exciting because it balances creativity with various printing processes in production, as well as digital content viewed on screen. Your artwork will be the most eye-catching element of content. Every project is unique. You will be working with a wide range of campaigns for various industries, that aim to create awareness and consideration of our services and amazing products like industrial shipping boxes, retail packaging, and P.O.P. displays. You will work in a team of skilled, creative individuals who will provide training on design conceptualization and layout, film and photography, and video editing.
What am I responsible for?
• Creates and prepares artwork for digital media, print media, and corrugated printed samples.
• Sets up final artwork for print (resolution, size, colors, appropriate file type, fonts, packaging, bleed, crop marks, etc.).
• Translates existing campaign creative into print.
• Occasionally retouches, draws silhouette paths, and applies special effects to a wide range of images in Photoshop.
• Works in a Mac-based environment, utilizing the full Adobe Creative suite including but not limited to: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat.
• Occasionally films and edits video content, takes photos, and assists in recording podcasts
• Will also assist the team in packing up printed parts for company events when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
What do I need to be successful?
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or similar discipline.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Must be open to change and revisions as part of the job.
• Superb communication abilities, positive attitude, problem solving capabilities, assertive nature.
• Detailed oriented, process driven, and able to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
• Experience involving corrugated industry, displays, graphics, and POP, a plus.
• Working knowledge of printing processes, print dies, litho, and corrugated production conversion processes, a plus.
• Excellent ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
• Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record.
• Must provide a PDF attachment of your portfolio or provide a link to an online portfolio.
What kind of environment will I be working in?
• You will be working at the main headquarters
• You will spend approximately 80% of time in an office on the computer, 15% of your time in meetings, 5% of you time on the Manufacturing and Distribution floor.
• You will work collaboratively throughout the organization with Design, Sales, Project Management, Client Services, and Production departments.
• You will work in an open work space
• You will work independently, and also in a Team oriented, results driven environment.
• May work unusual or extended work hours as required.

• Physical and Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
• Work environment includes front-office and manufacturing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
