General Summary
The Jr Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst is responsible for the operation of security infrastructure in accordance with Studio security policy.  The position works collaboratively with Studio staff and members of the Security Engineering team to monitor security logs, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), Firewalls, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) events and other security related systems.


Job Functions

  • Monitor, analyze and respond to security events from a variety of SEIM data sources.
  • Administer identity and access management systems.
  • Assist Security Engineering team with the configuration and management of firewall, intrusion detection systems, internal vulnerability scanners and intrusion protection systems.
  • Create new alert rules and logic in accordance with Studio policies.
  • Participate in the design, documentation and execution of security training programs.
  • Conduct risk analysis to inform minimum security controls and requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to Technology teams in accordance with security objectives and requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of SOC policies, processes and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1 year engineering experience in Computer Security or a related field such as Networking and/or Software Development.
  • Basic experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby or PowerShell.
  • Experience with various operating systems (e.g., iOS, Linux, Windows), preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise security platforms (e.g., NGAV, EDR/XDR), preferred.
  • Security related certifications (e.g., SANS GIAC, GSEC, CISM, Security+), preferred.
  • Well organized with strong planning, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Calm and personable under pressure.

  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee works under typical office conditions and is exposed to variable indoor temperatures. The noise level is usually quiet or moderate.

On-Site in Hillsboro, OR (and Hybrid Eligible).


Salary
Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
