Jr. Art Director & Graphic Designer

Fresh Prints is an NYC-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them training and support to build the business at their schools. 

Our Creative Team rolls up to our Growth team, which is focused on the next $100 million. How do we develop a visual identity that turns us into a world-class brand? What does effective marketing content look like? How do we usher in the next stage at Fresh Prints?

You’ll work on those questions and many more with the other members of our cross-functional Growth team. As Fresh Prints grows, you will too. For the right person, this role offers an uncapped opportunity. 

Responsibilities

• Work under the Revenue Team to develop creative concepts and visual strategies that align with team objectives
• Participate and engage in team-wide discussions about campaign strategy and approach
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills by interpreting project briefs, considering audience preferences, and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes
• Work and collaborate with the Design Team and Copywriters to execute strong campaign assets that align with the Revenue Team’s goals

• Conceptualize graphics using a campaign’s requirements and design across all mediums including email, social media, landing pages, etc.

• Support other teams by creating on-brand assets for their initiatives as needed
• Test graphics on various platforms to make sure they’ll perform well
• Manage graphic design timelines to ensure timely execution
• Stay on top of current content trends in our space to keep us relevant
• Amend designs after feedback 
• Be a gatekeeper for our brand 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Marketing or any related field
• 2 to 4+ years of experience in graphic design and art or creative direction
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 
• Excellent conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Self-motivated and excited to work on a variety of projects
• A keen eye for aesthetics and detail

• The job is based in the Philippines (Remote)
• This is a salaried role, not an hourly role. However, to make sure we can coordinate across time zones we ask that everyone in this role be available for meetings/emails/Hangouts etc., during the following times:
  
  November - March
  Philippines: 5PM - 1AM PHT
  US: 4AM - 12PM EST
  
  March - November
  Philippines: 4PM - 12AM PHT
  US: 4AM - 12PM EST
