Our organization is seeking a Junior Level Business Analyst for our corporate location in Huntsville, AL. This is a permanent full-time position in support of a defense organization.
The selected individual will be responsible for the preparation of payroll, timesheet entry into CostPoint for billing purposes, and tracking funds spent. Other accounting, contracts, or administrative responsibilities may be added.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review Deltek Timesheets weekly for accuracy and to track contract spending
- Weekly entry of invoices for billings in various customer software portals
- Prepare monthly invoices, review, and submit to customer
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable entry and posting
- Payroll review and processing
- Payroll Tax Preparation, per pay period and Monthly
- Accounts Receivable Review and collection
- Review contracts and accounting related documents and requests for information, as required
- Review Contract Mods and create Work Authorizations
- Assistance with CDRLS on contracts
- Assist with proposals and pricing when needed
- Program Control duties, tracking contract hours and funds
- Establish and maintain complete, well-organized Vendor, Payroll and Program Control files
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field with 1 to 3 years' experience or equivalent experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong data analytics and financial reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Deltek, CostPoint, or other similar programs (preferred)
- Must possess excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple, diverse tasks despite shifting deadlines and competing priorities
- Proven ability to work effectively under time-critical deadlines and stressful situations
