Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Jr. Data Scientist in Aliso Viejo, CA to apply mathematical modeling and optimizing methods to understand user behaviors on services to assist with improved business results. Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience creating operational data analysis and data visualization presentations with applied statistics, machine learning and experimental design during research process. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience extracting new features from dataset and leveraging massive amounts of data to drive product innovation; conducting time series analysis of large dataset using signal processing technique; analyzing multi-dimensional datasets with regression/classification and generating recommendations on experiment procedures; testing algorithms to design cluster analysis test, non-parametric tests and forecasting methodologies; and reviewing research papers relating to AI technology and presenting research output to the team.
