Description
The Jr. Software Engineer role is an integral team member who works with the various groups to support modernization efforts. For this role, you will need to be on top of the latest designs, frameworks, and other trends in the full stack. Also comfortable in the development and maintenance of CI.D pipelines to deploy software where it lives, both in the cloud and on-premises.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with modernizing older applications to new design paradigms and.r new frameworks
- Design, development, and deployment of mission critical applications using different frameworks.echnologies such as Angular, .NET 5/6, and SQL Server
- Assist with migrating on-premises applications to the cloud and leveraging cloud services for application infrastructure needs (database, file storage, hosting, logging, etc.)
- Support agile development teams by developing and maintaining tools, pipelines, scripts, and environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent and repeatable environment deployment
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
- Requires 1-3+ years of experience in a similar role or functions including software development on complex applications to large scale production environments
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, Openstack, VMWare, or GCP)
- 1-3+ years of solid experience with JavaScript.ypeScript and front end frameworks such as Angular.eact.ue.js
- 1-3+ years of solid experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API.icroservices
- 1-3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of or experience with container (Docker) development and orchestration with Kubernetes or a K8s distribution such as Rancher
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, Gradle, Nexus or similar tools) - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
- Some experience integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines
- Broad knowledge in modern information technologies and in-depth knowledge of one development, security, or operational technology
- Ability to interact at all levels of management internally, and with customers and suppliers
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent follow-through
- Takes initiative and doesn't need constant instruction
- Must be able to multitask and manage time amongst clients
- Flexibility and ability to bounce between projects quickly

- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder.

- The salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually
