Job Summary

Comcast Advertising is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer who is energized by the opportunity to push the creative envelope, bring brand guidelines to life and work on complicated and exciting creative projects. In this role you will work alongside other designers, video producers, brand experts, marketers and sales leads across the Effectv division to deliver cutting edge, integrated multi-platform campaigns. Your portfolio captures your ability to design for web, print, UX, presentation, interactive, social and just about anything else that gets thrown your way. You obsess about the details – from pixel placement, to kerning type, to selecting the right photo and tweaking layouts to perfection - and you know how to take creative from “good enough” to great. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Follow, maintain, and help develop the Effectv visual brand language, applying brand guidelines and creativity across a variety of mediums including print, web, presentation, digital, email, social, trade shows and other)
• Participate and collaborate with team members in concept development and design ideation.
• Design award worthy creative that aligns with customer needs and business objectives
• Be at ease with working in a fast-paced environment while always keeping your cool and sense of humor
• Ensures a full understanding of the creative objectives and needs of internal client groups and customer segments.
• Manage projects from start to finish
• Be a team player

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-4 years' experience
• Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent professional experience
• Mastery of the industry standard tools – Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint are critical. Knowledge of Wordpress, Splash and/or PHP not required but a plus
• Strong layout and typographic skills with a honed eye for photo direction
• Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organized, collaborative, impeccable attention to detail,
• Highly motivated with an insatiable intellectual curiosity
• Bonus Points: Video editing and animation skills (Adobe Premiere), hands on photography experience, Knowledge of UX best practices
