Job Summary:

A Jr Project Manager will assist in managing multiple projects from cradle to grave while assuring all stakeholders are up to date on pertinent project details.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviews projects and assures information is disseminated to the appropriate personnel to assure orders are released.
• Communicates internally and expedites the resolution of customer problems.
• Reconciles project tracking resolves issues/escalates appropriately (internally and externally).
• Communicates changes and their requirements to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Updates information in internal systems in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist in the following areas:
• Proactively communicate the status of projects with all Internal Project Stakeholders to assure potential issues (delays, cost overruns, etc.) are effectively communicated and handled in a timely manner.
• Ensure all components for project are in house - on time.
• Relay all necessary information throughout internal channels to ensure everything is on time and all channels know pertinent information.
• Performs any other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong project management skills.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP's.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Supervision Received:

Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.

Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.

Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.

Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.

Standing: Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time.

Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. In frequently more than 30 minutes at a time.
