In this role, you will help the team discover creative and sustainable ways to solve business challenges and improve our software capabilities and functionality. You will contribute your expertise designing and building first-class applications to meet evolving business requirements. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $65,000 - $95,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. What You'll Do:
- Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migrations for ServiceNow features, applications and projects.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platform.
- Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used.
- Execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered.
- Communicate we effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.
- Provide detailed estimates and document work breakdown structure for assigned tasks.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least three years of exposure to software development and learning new code.
- Self-motivated and creative.
- Willing to ask questions around ServiceNow and developing code with client and server side scripts.
- Learn details around version control and update sets.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Seek to understand SLDC methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Scaled Agile.
- Security minded and strong awareness of vulnerabilities.
Bonus Points:
- ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
- Experience developing UI.
- Experience developing REST/SOAP API.
