Great opportunity for a finance/accounting graduate who wants to develop and start their career in world of Accountancy.

You will be responsible for the invoice bookkeeping, handling payments, preparing financial statements, supporting month end general ledger activities and/or audits. You will also coordinate accounting matters with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping invoices, handling payments and reconciliation on bank statements.
  • Assist with auditor’s query and in the process of preparing the companies statutory accounts.
  • Provide auditors with detailed information and supporting documents for periodic reviews.
  • Assist in the monthly close cycle in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare financial statements against budget/prior reporting periods/ forecasts.
  • Use working knowledge of GAAP for Revenue accounting, recurring entries, prepaid Journal Entries, Accruals and Fixed Assets.
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Execute monthly SOX controls and provide SOX team with detailed information and supporting documentation for our internal controls monthly.
  • Maintain accurate US GAAP vs. Local GAAP reconciliations, providing insights into the primary differences.
  • Support in key business projects, including system upgrades and new initiatives.

Skills

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of local statutory accounting, regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to process and detail;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact collaboratively cross functions and all levels
  • Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to re-prioritization as necessary in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in developing formulas for analyzing large quantities of data in EXCEL.
  • Continuous growth mindset, keep learning through social experiences and relationships with stakeholders, experts, colleagues and mentors as well as widen and broaden your competencies through structural courses and programs.
  • Fluent in English language
