Job Overview

The Jr. Administrator, IT Network position is responsible to implement, maintain, and support AltaMed’ s growing network infrastructure, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers and monitoring systems. Additional responsibilities comprise of racking/cabling equipment and assisting other teams, including, but not limited to, Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.

• A minimum 1 years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining IT Network technologies required.

• Knowledge of routing and switching to implement and maintain network solutions. (Cisco technologies are preferred)

• Experience with Wireless technologies preferred.

• Knowledge and experience of network security architectures (e.g. Firewalls, VPNs, ACL, IDS/IPS) preferred.

• Experience in virtualization and cloud systems preferred

• Experience supporting solutions with high availability and real time monitoring is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols. Adept at packet capture and troubleshooting tools.

Compensation

$74,464.00 - $93,080.00 annually
