Junior Associate, Client Experience

Weber Shandwick is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Associate for its San Francisco office who wants to be part of a dedicated and engaged team that creates smart marketing and communications solutions for clients. Our dynamic, integrated account teams deliver breakthrough ideas, innovative programs and executional excellence – all of which result in superlative client experiences and longstanding relationships.

CLIENT AND WORK

• Provides support on cross‐channel/integrated marketing and PR teams for multiple client engagements
• Drafts documents, develops cross‐functional team briefs and assists with day‐to‐day account management Develops media materials (press releases, pitch emails, reporter backgrounders, social media posts) Develops targeted media lists and learns/follows clients' priority media: top‐tier, trade, a diverse mix of social influencers, etc.
• Supports influencer identification, coordination and management, including conducting research, maintaining databases and coordinating activation logistics in partnership with our influencer experts
• Conducts research and media audits independently
• Supports event logistics and management
• Delivers accurate and timely media monitoring and campaign results reports to reviewer
• Maintains and updates status reports, including materials trackers, media trackers, conference/event trackers
• Prepares for and participates in client meetings, including accurately capturing notes, agenda action items, call recaps, updating trackers, timelines and status documents
• Develops a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audience
• Maintains a keen interest in current industry trends, including becoming a student of our clients’ sectors, reading earnings call transcripts, Q&As with the CEO, competitors’ coverage and influencers’ posts
• Develops ability to share insights and perspectives with teams and clients

• Is attuned to culturally relevant insights and happenings for clients
• Brings a solutions focused approach and agility to any and all tasks to support the making of great work

California Salary range: $45,000 – $45,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
