The Junior Producer partners with all disciplines to help bring ideas to life while ensuring creative excellence and brand integrity. Depending on the project, the individual will lead his/her own productions or support the team on multi-faceted productions. The position requires a growth mindset and is an excellent opportunity to increase production skillsets. The bulk of the work is rooted in content production (film/video) but also may involve other disciplines (art/digital/experiential).

This particular role on the Apple TV+ pod will include a steady stream of social content relating to their TV shows.


Responsibilities:

• Manage & produce small to medium projects/test shoots without senior or lead producer.

• Must be willing/able to handle assistant duties when needed

• Engage in various production phases including production research, vendor outreach, security protocols, bidding, creating estimates/PO’s, pre-pro meetings, casting, shooting, recording, editing, music, animation, color, effects, versioning, QA, delivery and final Client approval

• Generate schedules and required paperwork.

• Conduct director searches or any other related research needed for production (i.e. post, stock footage, films, etc.), pulling reels/examples, while always considering a diverse range of talent.

• Work with Business Affairs to understand on-camera & voice talent needs while also aiding in that process including casting voice overs/artists, booking talent sessions, tracking elements/contracts.

• Set-up and supervise editorial and post-production workflow and deliverables.

• Oversee final quality control of final on air masters plus all client deliverables.

• Create PO’s for projects and then monitor/approve all related invoices.

• Complete any paperwork including credits/completion reports/pipeline/cost plus wrap docs, etc.

• Take initiative and think ahead providing logistical insights and anticipate production workflow issues.

• Build relationships with producers, creatives, vendors, account teams, BA and others.

• Learn Apple & MAL process and production approaches from Producers and Executive Producers.

• Gain a full understanding of MAL and Apple “systems” and workflow.

• Advance individual’s understanding of different production disciplines (content, art, print, digital).

• Develop a solid creative point of view

• Keep on top of trends and innovations within the production and advertising industries.

• Stay abreast of great work happening around the world and curate that work to the agency.

• Represent the “MAL brand” in a positive light.


Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years in production-related roles (ideally in social content production).

• Passion to bring ideas to life and true curiosity in creativity

• Must be a proven project manager and self-starter, able to handle multiple projects at once, work with multiple teams and fit into a well-defined workflow.

• Familiarity with various global broadcast formats & localization

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

• Exceptional scheduling and time management skills

• Organized, efficient, calm, and quick thinking

• Proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, Numbers, Keynote, AX, Frame.io, WebEx, Pipeline, Spaces, Box & other production software, etc.
