Job Description

Our buying team is responsible for purchasing all external brands and the continuous expansion of our brand portfolio. Our buyers are always on the lookout for the latest fashion and lifestyle trends and are highly analytical when it comes to optimizing our product ranges and processes.

As a Junior Buyer (m/f/d), you will support our Buyers throughout the entire order process for external brands and constantly monitor all relevant KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Independent purchasing of external brands in consultation with the Head of Buying while adhering to the planned purchasing budget and taking all relevant KPIs into account
• Development, optimization and support of the product range
• Strategic preparation of and participation in condition discussions with suppliers
• Supporting purchasing planning in coordination with the Head of Buying
• Independently carrying out complex analyses to monitor the competition and the market
• Regular and proactive coordination with Merchandise Management and Conditions Management

Requirements

• Above-average degree in economics and business administration
• Ideally initial professional experience in purchasing external brands
• Very good handling of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical thinking skills and understanding of numbers
• Structured way of working and reliability even during periods of high workload
• Hands-on mentality
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
