Job Description

As the buying team, we take care of the purchasing of all products and the regular expansion of the ABOUT YOU brand portfolio. We are always on the lookout for exciting, new and timeless fashion and lifestyle trends from all over the world. To this end, we define seasonal product range strategies and draw up seasonal and financial plans. We manage all purchasing budgets ourselves and also analyze and evaluate KPIs. A good relationship with our suppliers is important to us, which is why we take care to maintain good relationships and contact with our partners. As our new (Junior) Buying Controller (m/f/d), you will work alongside your buying counterpart(s) and finance teams to drive profitability of the assortment and establish processes that ensure transparency and compliance with regulations 

Responsibilities: 

• Be the guardian of our buying conditions: You will own and manage our buying conditions, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and optimal outcomes for ABOUT YOU
• Keep a watchful eye on our finances: You will be responsible for overseeing key accounting aspects within the buying department, providing insightful analyses, and contributing to sound financial decisions
• Bring structure and efficiency to our processes: You will play a key role in structuring and optimizing tasks within the buying department, fostering efficiency, and supporting our buyers in their daily activities
• Collaborate and communicate: You will work closely with various stakeholders, including buyers, suppliers, and finance teams, ensuring seamless communication and strong working relationships

Requirements: 

• You possess a strong analytical mindset with a meticulous attention to detail
• You have a proven track record in controlling, accounting, or a similar field
• Your organizational skills are exceptional, and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• A passion for the fashion industry and a strong understanding of buying processes are a plus
