Job Description:

• Edit and proofread a variety of web, blog, email and corporate communications assets
• Assist with corporate newsletter and weekly news blog creation
• Be able to create and/or edit content in the SonicWall voice with excellent knowledge in communication principles and detail-oriented approach to projects big and small
• Write occasional blogs on a variety of cybersecurity and IT topics
• Demonstrate SEO best practices and work with web team and third-party agencies to optimize web copy and metadata to adhere to established keyword strategies
• Embrace and adhere to SonicWall narrative style, tone and quality
• Promote web, digital and communication standards across the organization and maintain corporate standards guide
• Team with field marketing to build testimonial content
• Assist with research and maintain database of global, local and vertical industry cybersecurity statistics

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related discipline required
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in copywriting, editing, proofreading or related
• Copywriting experience in B2B or tech preferred
• Must present portfolio of authentic writing samples and/or projects
• Excellent written and editorial skills
• Teamwork-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Mastery of AP style
• Open to feedback and collaboration from management and others throughout the organization
• Innovative with willingness to offer new ideas
• Experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud or technology a plus
