Junior Developer

Junior Developer - Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Essential Functions:

The Jr. Developer is responsible for developing new feature functionalities, supporting, and maintaining various systems. The Jr. Developer must: 1) understand existing codebases and how they work 2) develop clean code, using best practices 3) support applications by being able to track down issues with guidance from support tickets 4) contribute to meetings by communicating effectively with other Developers and/or Architects when needed 4) not be afraid to ask questions if they have a lack in knowledge. This position is comprised of approximately 80% development and 20% support/maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Develop clean, extendable code to solve complex technical issues
• Contribute to design documents and participate in design reviews where code will be reviewed
• Be proactive and inquisitive in finding solutions
• Think outside the box to Solve problems
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including those outside of for troubleshooting issues if needed
• Determine severity and impact of issues on the business and communicate status to Management
• Work both independently and with a group of highly skilled developers
• Be flexible with work hours and schedule; provide on-demand support as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience required in Angular and NodeJS
• Experience using a code repository (i.e. - GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Understanding of Relational Databases and how applications interact with them
• Understanding of the Agile development methodology
• Experience using a Project Management tool such as Jira

Nice to Have:

• AWS experience is a plus but not required.
• OIDC/PKCE Authorization Flow experience is a plus but not required
