Position Summary:

This role is responsible for helping to build the front-end of our web site. This would include, standard web pages, landing pages, web applications, and widgets. You will work closely with a team of developers, as well as the Digital Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

• Building Web Pages
• Develop and support enhancements and new functionality for Ascend platforms using cutting edge technology.
• Create front-facing pages and views that are responsive in nature, for use across multiple platforms including mobile devices and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and evaluate pages and views to include web accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance in order to accommodate for visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting to support production issues through weekdays and weekends
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to defined coding standards and guidelines.

Job Specifications:

• Associates degree or higher in Computer science, Graduate from a recognized coding bootcamp, or equivalent work experience (2+ years)
• 2+ years of relevant experience in user experience development for web-based applications
• 2+ years of full time experience preferred in CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and JSON using CMSs
• Experience in Agile based development methodology or similar formal methodologies
• Experience with working with modern JavaScript libraries or frame works, such as React.js is a plus.
