Junior Developer
Job Description
As a Junior Developer, you will play a vital role in developing software solutions using Java, SOAP, REST API, and web development technologies to cater to the unique requirements of our clients utilizing Deltek Costpoint. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to tackle challenges, exhibit self-motivation, possess leadership qualities, effectively manage their time, and exhibit forward-thinking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications utilizing Oracle or SQL Server databases and web technologies.
- Build, enhance, test, deploy, and support Infotek products in accordance with the product development strategy.
- Create product documentation, training materials, and product demonstrations for both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate product marketing efforts.
- Execute client projects involving data migration, ETL, web services, and software customization and implementation services.
- Writing scripts for monitoring integrations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development or operations engineering
- Proficiency of at least 1 year in Java or .NET development
- Working knowledge of databases, SQL, and Oracle
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LAMBDA, Azure Functions, Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems
- Bonus: Experience in SDLC projects, Operations, or Quality Assurance
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Costpoint
- Understanding of SOAP and REST API
Physical Requirements
- Consistently requires sitting for a majority of the day to complete essential job duties on the computer and telephone
- Consistently requires auditory abilities to efficiently listen and effectively communicate with clients, vendors and staff to carry out essential job duties
- Occasionally requires standing to scan, print and copy job related documents to carry out job duties
- Occasional overnight travel by land and/or air may be necessary
The Company offers Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Leave, Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k. Infotek will provide a laptop, mouse, keyboard, and monitor as well as a direct deposit of $25 per pay period for any remote office supplies. You will accrue fourteen (14) PTO days off per year and subject to state law, you will be provided with 6 days of sick leave.
