Junior DevOps Engineer

Appnovation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and contribute to modern DevOps practices, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI.
• Collaborate on setting up and managing cloud environments in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with the flexibility to work with others as needed.
• Support the implementation of monitoring and metrics solutions to track system performance.
• Participate in patch management, system updates, and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to the documentation of systems, processes, and best practices.
• Work with senior engineers to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience in environment management, containerization, and automation tools.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a focus on at least one cloud platform (experience in GCP is a plus) and an openness to work with others as required.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI, with experience in at least one.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of basic scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• GCP certifications (Architect, Developer, or DevOps Professional) are a bonus but not required.
