Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for our Embedded products
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Customer Support, and Product Management to create test plans
- Troubleshoot product and End-to-End system issues and identify corrective actions
- Document progress and issues within JIRA and Confluence
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year or more of Quality Assurance for Equipment testing
- Testing connected/networked devices, both white box and black box
- Working with other groups within the business -Product/Program Management, Design Engineering, and Customer Support
- Dealing with customers, for field trials and deployment
- Working with certification partners/external labs
- Processing application logs
- Writing test plans/creating test cases
- Comfortable handling hardware components like cable connections and power
- Using JIRA and Confluence for testing/documenting purposes
- Payment systems and Payment Card Industry standards, payment card readers
- Vending industry specifics like MDB, DEX, Serial and Pulse interfaces, and vending machine fundamentals
- Understanding cellular connectivity and networking basics
Soft Skills:
- Teamwork, for collaborating with contractors and customers
- Self-starter and quick learner
- Ambitious to learn new technologies, company products, proprietary software architecture, and processes
- Focused, committed, organized, dependable, and willing to go the extra mile
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in hybrid mode (office + remote), to work with equipment in the lab
- Availability during morning hours, to work with contractors in remote time zones
