We are seeking a Junior Experience Designer (VD) to help bring our internal and external marketing collateral to life. This position will utilize your creativity by offering a diverse set of projects, from designing branded marketing materials and social media templates to creating event collateral to learning how to design applications. As a Junior Experience Designer, you will work as a member of our User Experience Design and Engineering team and regularly partner with our global marketing and communications team to take raw content and shape it into compelling materials for both internal and external audiences. As a member of this team, you will be introduced to the world of User Experience and User Interface design as it applies to our software platforms. This position will include many opportunities for cross collaboration among our teams around the globe and will explore both print and digital arts along with UX, UI mentoring.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for our portfolio of brands and provide visual design QA across the firm
• Meet with other teams and translate requirements into design specifications
• Create and maintain designs across our brands to ensure a consistent look, feel and tone
• Deliver both digital and print-ready files for counterparty & recruitment marketing campaigns, conferences, external meetings and internal uses. Examples: social media templates, infographics, one pagers, presentations, research reports, logos, trade show materials and other branded print collateral
• Share work with internal teams, critique and articulate design decisions
• A willingness to learn how to develop all types of UX assets and collateral, including wireframing, mockups, prototypes, finalized layouts, and creation of digital-ready assets
• Iterate rapidly as ideas emerge and prioritize change to meet the needs of the project

You’ll be right at home if you have:

• A strong visual design portfolio showcasing a graphic design and print background
• High proficiency with Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Passion for design with an eye for detail and a clear understanding of how to design for a professional audience
• Expert skills in taking complex information and translating it to simple, clear designs
• Willingness to be nimble and iterative with your work as we expect quality over quantity
• A flexible approach to getting the job done and a client-service oriented mentality
