Junior Finance Manager

We are hiring a Junior Finance Manager to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

BlueYard is a thesis-driven venture capital firm based in Berlin. We invest in early-stage technology startupsmainly across Europe and the US. As a Junior Finance Manager at BlueYard you will report directly to the CFO and General Counsel and play a key role in the operations of our funds.

Tasks

• Manage, coordinate and review all aspects of the outsourced fund administration and fund accounting set-up, including capital calls, distributions and invoice management
• Support investor reporting, including preparation for annual audits
• Carry out financial analysis and track portfolio company KPIs and financials
• Assist with AML, tax filings and compliance workflows
• Support the finance and legal team in administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Academic background in finance or a related field
• First professional experience in a finance team
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organized
• Proactive mindset; comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on mentality: We are a small team, no task is too small or unimportant
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus
