Junior Freelance Retoucher

Location: Fernhurst, West Sussex.

Type: Full-Time and based mainly in our Head Office with some opportunities to work from home. 

Aspinal of London are looking for a Freelance Junior Re-toucher to join our Graphics department on an ongoing ad-hoc basis. This role requires a passion about luxury fashion and have a keen eye for detail, with a strong understanding of colour correction, image composition, and retouching techniques. Key Responsibilities:

• Retouch high-end product images, including leather bags, wallets, and accessories, ensuring they meet the brand’s standards.
• Perform colour correction, blemish removal, and enhancement of textures to maintain the true representation of our products.
• Collaborate closely with the photography team and senior team members to ensure consistency across all visual assets.
• Maintain an organized workflow, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Prepare images for various platforms, including e-commerce, print, and social media.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain the highest level of quality in all visual outputs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retouching, ideally within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant editing software for PC/Mac.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your retouching skills, particularly with luxury products.
• Excellent attention to detail and a deep understanding of colour, texture, and lighting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• A passion for luxury fashion and an appreciation for the craftsmanship of high-end leather goods.
