This position will be responsible for writing, maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting applications, services and solutions.
In this role, Associate Software Engineer will work closely with senior developers, QE, PM, and UX to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements. This is a remote position for candidates in Costa Rica, which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management

Job Duties:

• Designs and delivers code for features of small to moderate scope and complexity.
• Provides oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team.
• Writes code for most areas of product.
• Writes unit and functional tests for features and/or products
• Debugs own/others code.
• Troubleshoot production issues.

Qualifications/Education
Impact You'll Make:

• Four-year technical degree in computer science or related field and and at least 1 year of experience.
• A good knowledge on data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of programming language- Java/Scala/Javascript
• Skills in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge of java frameworks including spring boot, REST
• Knowledge of the Cloud concepts, hands on experience with AWS, GCP is a plus
• knowledge of Git and version control
• knowledge of any relational database and one of the NoSql database.
• Able to write unit testing and test, debug web applications.
