Junior German & French Copywriter
Berlin, hybrid
This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!
JOB PURPOSE
As a German and French-speaking Junior Copywriter, you’ll primarily transcreate copy for all digital channels for our client, Mammut – providing on-brand website copy that drives clicks and engagement. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing copy that showcases our client’s voice and furthers their brand story.
You will work closely with the English-speaking Copywriters to ensure tone and nuances are considered in the transcreation so that the text can work in the German market. You will follow and improve upon creative standards, processes, and guidelines to maximise quality and minimise churn. This role requires a genuine passion for the craft of copywriting, an affinity for brand storytelling, and a keen eye for detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients’ digital channels
- Iterate on copy changes quickly and effectively with guidance from Copy Lead
- Adhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines
- Identify and communicate creative opportunities through competitor research and trends
- Collaborate with Designers and Creative Directors
- Contribute to team creative brainstorms
- Proactively support other Copywriters regionally and globally
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong command of the German and French language - specifically writing and grammar
- Some copywriting experience; a background in agency or brand is preferred
- Ability to produce error-free marketing content that sells
- Confidence in taking ownership of individual work with support from Copy Lead
- Ability to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
- An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touch points of a user journey
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
- A collaborative approach to getting things done
- A supportive, proactive attitude towards projects
- Directly available to start working in Berlin
