Junior GIS Analyst

Overview

Highlight is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to support a team providing disaster management, social services recovery and data analytic support for a federal civilian customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform performing various GIS-related tasks and support functions
• Use GIS software (ESRI GIS products preferred) to manipulate geographic data for a government customer, producing daily and weekly outputs
• Collect, analyze and interprets geospatial data
• Experience developing high quality mapping products to support recovery operations

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in information science or related discipline
• 1 year related experience
• Proficient in GIS software, ESRI GIS preferred
• Experience supporting recovery operations
• Prior FEMA experience preferred
