Junior Graphic Designer

In this role you serve as the graphic designer and content specialist for Apogee's Campus Engagement Services (CES). CES is a platform that allows campus news, information and #collegelife to be on full display using a portal designed by Apogee.
Apogee serves as an extension of the University's marketing and student affairs teams, and allows information to be delivered that inspires action and student engagement. You can read how different campuses use this product here, https://www.apogee.us/case_texo/campus-engagement/
Apogee is based in Austin, TX and is open to hiring remotely for this work-from-home position. You must live in the continental US.
In this role you will:
- You will help our clients create content using graphic design skills (online graphic design, promotional campaigns, social media design).
- You'll be the go to person for customer accounts including coordination of the hiring and managing of student interns known as ambassadors and responding to client account requests.
- You will run some small-scale social media campaigns for clients.
- Daily Review and approval of content through our platform.
- Work with CES and Apogee teams to ensure the CES platform is both available and engaging for our campuses.
- Validate and update operational practices and technologies through documentation and testing

- PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Windows 8+
- Photoshop, Pixelmator or equivalent presentation/graphic design software
- Social media platforms, it's not enough to be on Facebook, have you administered a campaign?
- University/Campus life
Requirements
- At least 1 year work experience OR equivalent combination of education and freelance experience in Graphic Design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop)
