Junior Implementation Support Engineer - Emil team

We are currently looking for an experienced Implementation Support Manager for our client Emil team.

EMIL Group is a fast-growing B2B Software-as-a-Service company from Berlin and has aimed to establish itself as the backbone for the European insurance industry (one of the most important industries in Europe with €1.25bn turnover) with modern and flexible technology. Our technology is already licensed by various enterprise customers (> €1bn turnover). With top-tier investors on board and an experienced team (including ex-AWS/Google), we are building the standard infrastructure for InsurTechs and insurance companies - similar to what Mambu has achieved for FinTechs and banks (valuation > €5bn).
Role description: 

The implementation support candidate will perform tasks to support our project managers in configuring and implementing our platform at the client level. The candidate will not have direct client contact. All tasks to be performed will be prepared by the project manager. The candidate or team will therefore be a technical backoffice for our project managers. Our platform consists of several self-services on which we need the candidates' support. It will be either in our document engine, process engine (Camunda), booking funnel engine or premium calculator. 

Required skills: 

• Specific coding languages are not required
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS required
• IT affinity
• Minimum 1 year experience in software development, implementation or IT related fields
• Previous work experience with an AWS cloud platform is a plus
• A finished degree in computer science or related field is not mandatory
• Background in business IT is a plus
• IT background / courses
• Fluent English (at least C1) is a must
• German is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Configuring BPMN workflows in Camunda process engine
• Writing calculations in Typescript
• Configuring web booking funnels via HTML and CSS
• Configuring docX documents or HTML documents
• Remote or hybrid
