Junior Information Assurance (IA) Analyst
Job Description
Custom Software Systems Inc. (CSS) is seeking an analyst to support our client's federated data
governance plans including Collibra platform implementation and sustainment. The selected candidate must be experienced with FISMA, NIST SOX, CMMI, and ITIL to name a few. The candidate will need to be onsite 6 days out of the week with the remaining days to be worked remotely.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Citizen to be considered,
- At least three (3) years of experience with: FISMA, NIST, SOX, Configuration and change management, CMMI, IT frameworks, ITIL, task order applications/technologies Capabilities
- Basic knowledge of Collibra core products/tools - Data Steward certification preferred.
- Experience in developing Data Catalog, Data Dictionary, Data Lineage and Business
- Glossary use cases.
- Experience in creating and managing training plans and other resources to support key data roles.
- Experience in identifying and implementing requirements and use cases for the Collibra solution to support the data governance strategy and roadmap.
- Experience supporting data owners and business users through data stewardship communities of practices to develop business processes and data models.
- 1+ years of experience in enterprise technology, enterprise data strategy, enterprise data architecture and data management framework. Specific work experience including but not limited to architecture design and integration, systems lifecycle management, infrastructure planning and operations.
- 1+ years of leadership experience in data governance and master data management concepts and solutions (e.g., metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Client facing and consulting experience and skills, especially supporting senior leaderships in decision making at the enterprise level.
- Ability to elaborate value of data governance to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience in the development of key data policies and guidelines (e.g., Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Ingestion/Creation)
- Experience with federal requirements for information security, privacy, and risk assessment standards such as FISMA, SOX, FedRAMP, etc.
- Experience in agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban to deliver solutions.
- Experience in change management (e.g., Ability to represent key sponsor/stakeholder priorities effectively)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts analyses and documents intrusion detection incidents and data.
- Performs routine IA administrative tasks IAW applicable instructions and pre-established guidelines.
- Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance, test and monitors network activities.
- Assists with the installing, day to day technical supporting, testing, and troubleshooting of IA systems in accordance with established policy, procedures, test plans and guidance.
- Takes appropriate action to report incidents to higher authority as required by regulation, policy, or law and implement required IA security measures to assist in the mitigation of incident impact.
- Monitors multi-level security networks to identify potential security violations, incidents, attacks, and malicious behavior
- Support technical lead in the functional (analysis, design etc.) and technical implementation of Collibra.
- Support Collibra implementation plans and help identify the priority for onboarding data.
- Help design our Collibra community to easily share and reuse common metadata between System and Board communities.
- Support Collibra plans to automate our DSA & ISA processes to manage our DSAs & ISAs integrations.
- Translate the business capabilities into data management capabilities that we will target in future development plans for the product and as new roles for the team.
- Translate business data pain points into relevant use cases.
- Develop and design presentations, reports, and other deliverables.
- Develop and maintain a project plan to track progress and ensure timely delivery and review.
- Conduct a weekly status meeting with key stakeholders.
- Present at monthly executive briefings.
- Provide a weekly status report of project tasks to the manager.
EDUCATION:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or five (5) years of equivalent experience
