Junior IT Operations Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Junior IT Operations Engineer with experience building and operating hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms. The engineer support automation of platform management at enterprise scale. The engineer shall have experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable. The engineer will feel comfortable maintaining the underlying services required to host containerized applications. The engineer will possess effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. The key responsibility of the platform engineer is to ensure the proper functioning of all apps, tracking systems while appropriately following all SOPs. This position can be supported at a hybrid capacity in Ogden, UT. 

• 3+ years of experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.)
• 1+ years of experience developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Atlassian
• 1+ years of experience using Jira and Confluence
• 3+ years of experience with agile and lean software development philosophies.
• 1+ years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience
  
• US Citizenship and eligible for a security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• MS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
