Junior IT Project Manager

FP1 Strategies LLC is a full-service agency based in Arlington, Virginia specializing in political campaigns work focused on coalition building, grassroots mobilization, advertising, digital engagement and message development.

FP1 Strategies is looking for a Junior IT Project Manager to join its growing team.

Primary responsibilities:

• Manage IT projects to ensure adherence to all IT project's budgets, schedules, and scope.
• Monthly vendor account management and account audit to support the IT Director in coordination with departments. (License management)
• Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
• Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
• Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
• Collects analysis and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status.
• Maintain Asset Inventory

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• 2-3 years IT project management experience
• IT Project Management Certification preferred
• Comfortable working and communicating with individuals at all levels and with various vendors and contacts outside of the firm
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of information technology procedures and practices
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become professional with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary for project management
• Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project promptly.
• Organized with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
