Junior JIRA Developer / SharePoint Developer

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies, LLC is seeking a Junior JIRA Developer / SharePoint Developer to assist in configuring, customizing, and maintaining our JIRA and SharePoint platforms to meet the needs of our project management and development teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in JIRA and SharePoint administration and development.

Duties/ Responsibilities 

The candidate selected for this role will assist in configuring, customizing, and maintaining our JIRA and SharePoint platforms to meet the needs of our project management and development teams.

This role could have exposure to the following:

- SharePoint architecture, site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
- Use of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server versions.
- SharePoint Designer for creating workflows and customizations.
- Office 365 ecosystem and integrating SharePoint with other Office 365 applications.
- JIRA architecture, including projects, issues, workflows, and schemes.
- JIRA projects, workflows, permission schemes, and notification schemes, and custom fields, screens, issue types, and other JIRA configurations.

- Additional IT responsibilities as necessary

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be a US Citizen
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills    
• Understanding of SharePoint Development and Administration
• Understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to learn advanced tasks within each system. 
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with SharePoint development and/or administration.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint automation.  
• Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools
• Experience with JIRA administration and/or development.
• Knowledge of ScriptRunner for JIRA.

Education and Experience:

• BS/BA Preferred
• 0-3 years of experience with relevant Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience without Bachelor's Degree

Ability to obtain a DoD clearance if required
