As Junior Legal Counsel, you will support the business on a variety of of legal matters. Your role will involve:
- Providing legal support in commercial, biopharma, business development and financial transactions and project
- Contributing to the maintenance of the Company's intellectual property (IP) portfolio and contributing to the protection, defense and enforcement of the Company's IP assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets
- Contributing to the development of legal processes and standards for legal documentation within the company
- Contract lifecycle management - drafting, review, execution, archiving and renewing of contracts. Ensure the contract management database is complete and up-to-date
- Contract Management:
- Drafting and reviewing different types of contracts
- Negotiation of contracts with third parties
- Alignment of contracts with external and internal guidelines, polices and procedures
- Provide legal support related to public tenders
Requirements
To be successful, we see you bringing:
- Law Degree
- 1-3 Years PQE, Qualified Lawyer in the US
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, good presentation skills and skilled in making the complex simple
- Socially-minded team player and who can build strong positive relationships internally and externally as an ambassador of the legal function
- The ability to quickly comprehend complex sets of international and domestic laws and regulations
- Experience in commercial transactions and corporate matters is a plus, as well as International experience and GDPR knowledge
- IP experience or an interest in IP would be ideal
