Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a Junior Linux and Atlassian Administrator to join our software Engineering Tool Infrastructure team. This is an opportunity to join a team that is focused on building, delivering, and supporting software tools for semiconductor product development. As a Jr. System admin you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and implementing solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations for Atlassian and DevOPS tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jama. Job Responsibilities:

As a Junior Linux and Atlassian Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure and Atlassian suite of tools. Your primary duties will include:

Linux System Administration:

- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.

- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with best practices.

- Collaborate with senior administrators.

Atlassian Tool Administration:

- Support the administration and configuration of Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.

- Assist in the installation, upgrades, and patching of Atlassian applications.

- Provide support, and resolve technical problems related to Atlassian tools.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and utilization.

- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and best practices.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation and integration of Linux and Atlassian solutions.

- Work closely with the IT team to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.

- Participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the IT department.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat.

- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system administration tasks.

- Basic knowledge of networking concepts

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant certifications such as Linux Professional Institute (LPI) or Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP).

- Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).

- Understanding of version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and practices.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $73,600 to $101,200.

• Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
