THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Junior Partner Consultant youāre part of a high performing team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion. You belong to a portfolio and you execute the portfolio strategy. You acquire relevant new partners and you support as well our live partners to achieve meaningful and financially sustainable growth and delight our customers. You will do this across a diverse set of brands and other partner types, leveraging your entrepreneurial drive to target, to consult, educate and sell complex solutions and act as a trusted advisor to the partner to embrace ZalandoĀ“s platform strategy, adopt ZalandoĀ“s platform services and leverage key technologies. You will do this in tight alignment with the Zalando Strategy and Zalando stakeholders.Ā

Leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and consult small & medium sized partners to embrace Zalandoās Platform strategy, adopt Zalando Ģs Platform Services and leverage key technologies. Generate profitable growth for a defined set of brands in alignment with the Zalando group Strategy and within our compliance landscape. Your brands are part of a defined Category where you will build expertise.

You leverage your strong analytical skills to analyse data and create insights to enable internal stakeholders or to autonomously cultivate existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of our growing suite of service offerings to maximise the ROI of our platform.

You are able to utilise your partner experience to acquire relevant new partners for the Zalando platform. You are also therefore able to highlight the main USPs of Zalando and tailor made against the partner needs a personalised business plan.Ā

You support the senior team members and their decision-making by collecting information and preparing the decision-making.

You liaise and align with internal stakeholders to develop clear partner roadmaps by working cross-functionally. As such you translate our assortment and market strategies into partner actions with the aim to increase end customers satisfaction. You follow through with operational excellence when executing such strategies.Ā

You work together with Product, Operations and Tech to ensure that partnerĀ“s feedback is transformed into innovative solutions.Ā

You troubleshoot and improve our current processes.Ā

You have a good understanding of assortment strategy and therefore you are able to consult a partner on stock planning, stock performance and assortment relevancy.

You show end to end responsibility for a defined set of partners, You therefore are able to streamline each partner request and need to the right team and processes. Thanks to that we are able to operate efficiently at scale.

You are financially savvy. You know what a trade of your time and priorities mean for Zalando. You know how to generate additional revenue on a partner level but you also know how to optimise the costs.Ā

You make sure all your partners are operating within the compliance framework defined.You maintain CRM excellence within your partner portfolio that ensures we have the best data and insights to derive strong decision making.Ā

Core KPIs you influence: Net Merchandise Volume, Profitability, Services adoption (Marketing and Logistics services), Customer convenience experience, Customer Lifetime Value, Partner satisfaction.

You are passionate to work in a marketplace environment and you have gathered first experience within consulting/business development or sales. You have a drive for the Fashion and e-commerce industry.

A salesperson, analytically outstanding, you love working with figures yet taking a pragmatic approach to complex requirements and issues.Ā

Excellent communication skills and can manage stakeholders effectively. You are fluent in English and any other language is a plus. You are confident in interacting and presenting independently.

Self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.
