Compensation: This is an exempt position, with an annual salary of $40,000 - $50,000.

Role Summary: The Junior Photo/Video Specialist role is a fully onsite position 5 days a week. This position serves as a member of our partner marketing agency, uPanda Marketing. You will be responsible for bringing uPanda’s, uP’s, and other clients’ stories to life through dynamic visual content, both in photo and video formats with a focus on social media. Your creativity and technical skills will play a crucial role in shaping our visual identity and enhancing our digital presence.

Responsibilities:

• Editing photos and videos for use on social media, YouTube, company events, or other purposes.
• Preparation for both photo and video shoots, including storyboarding, shot lists, and script writing when necessary.
• Adding captions to videos if necessary.
• Conducting both photo and video shoots, including setting up lighting, cameras, microphones, and interviewing if necessary.
• Documenting company and client events to ensure there is content for future use.
• Traveling to conduct photo and video shoots for clients.
• Properly sourcing and licensing any necessary stock video, images, or audio.
• Graphic Design for Social Media.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia, Film, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Portfolio of relevant video work, including video, social media, and motion graphics.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premier, Adobe AfterEffects, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Understanding of social media practices and how to attract attention.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred.
