Modernize is seeking to hire a highly analytical, passionate, collaborative and articulate Junior Product Manager who is well versed in digital marketing products and systems to join our Product and Engineering team. This person will lead a tight-knit cross-functional dev team and bridge the gap between the business and engineering, shaping products and tools for consumers, performance marketing clients, and internal business and operations stakeholders  

A Junior Product Manager at Quinstreet needs to exhibit the following traits: 

Responsibilities

• Take extreme ownership of projects and direct team members to execute on business and technical objectives.  
• Effectively manage ambiguity and drive the refinement of fuzzy ideas into concrete requirements, specific use cases or solutions for customer pain points. 
• Lead cross functional product team, managing sprints and agile ceremonies 
• Develop, execute, and communicate project schedules and plans 
• Present product updates and new pitches to senior leadership team 
• Deliver written/oral updates engineering & business leadership 
• Communicate with and collect functional requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical requirements for development team. 
• Create and maintain product and systems documentation  
• Evaluate existing products and practices and drive enhancements and innovations 
• Continually evaluate and improve the team's productivity, release quality, and job enjoyment. 
• Work with business partners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs. 
• Educate and train customer-facing departments such as account management, sales, and implementations on product. 
• Perform ad hoc data analyses for troubleshooting and validation 
• Collaborate with data science and analytics team to create data-driven insights 
• Be results-oriented / Deliver business value 

Experience 

• 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing tech, analytics, software product management/project management  (agile or scrum) 
• Experience Leading a cross functional product team and partnering with Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Data functions to deliver features 
• Enjoys working remotely via webcam with teammates 
• Sense of humor, team player, good interpersonal skills 
• Data analysis skills, with the ability to understand, create, and use business charts to influence the direction of business decisions 
• PowerPoint, Excel power user 
• Database and SQL competency 

Nice To Have: 

• Experience with Jira & Confluence 
• AWS experience (S3, RDS, Redshift, CloudWatch) 
• Experience working with BI reporting tools such as Tableau 
• Development or analytics background
