The project is for one of the leading global investment management firm. The firm is assembling a new specialized team of engineers, quants and data scientists to design, build, deploy and operate their next generation research and trading capabilities. The team works jointly with portfolio managers, trading and operations. The culture of the team is entrepreneurial, where work/life balance, ownership, and excellence are highly valued.

Skills
Must have
- Mandatory Skills:• 6-12 months of development experience in Python• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures• Results-oriented, can deliver quality code with quick turnaround
- Nice-to-Have Skills:• Proficient at working with large datasets• Expertise in creating and modifying cross-language systems• Understanding of distributed/cloud computing technologies and emerging computing trends, AWS experience• Strong written and oral communications skills.
