Junior QA Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

About project

It is a web application that focuses on the trading market and provides corporate clients with a comprehensive suite of customization products, offering transparency, flexibility and predictability. The main goal of it is to allow clients to gain exposure to the market, simply and transparently, to extract a return.

• Team location: Lviv and London

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of software applications to identify any defects, ensuring that the application functions according to the specified requirements
• Work  closely with existing QA colleagues to understand the existing test suite and learn the process for conducting testing of new and existing requirements
• Write and help in maintaining clear, concise, and accurate test documentation, including test cases, defect reports
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects found during the testing process in issue-tracking systems like JIRA
• Communicate findings to developers and the team in a clear and concise manner
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss progress, issues, and next steps for testing

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases   
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Working knowledge of test management software (Testrail) will be a plus  
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills: English language on an intermediate level.
