ASI is seeking an experienced Reliability Manager/Engineer to work in Patuxent River, MD. The candidate will manage and participate in various Reliability & Maintainability engineering efforts for our NAVAIR and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraft
  • Perform R&M Analyses, projections, allocations, and calculate R&M metrics
  • Perform R&M criticality and risk assessments including FMEA/FMECA
  • Attend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerations
  • Determine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in developing design modifications and engineering change proposals (ECPs)
  • Generate various reports outlining findings and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics, or Electronics
  • Up to 3 years of experience as an R&M Engineer or R&M experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in areas such as R&M modeling, risk/criticality assessment, FMEA, RCA, RCM, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methods

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be qualified to obtain Secret Clearance
