The Role:  We are looking for a Junior Service Desk Technician. 

  • You will take a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Being a point of contact for resolution to various IT problems
  • Provide tier 1-2 helpdesk support to users over Slack, phone and in person
  • Provision users' devices, configure, deploy and troubleshoot Windows 10, 11, MacOS and Office365 products
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the Service Desk Area
  • Perform post-resolution follow ups with end user and team members as required
  • Manage asset and accessory inventory
  • System audits for cybersecurity compliance
  • Document tickets and progress on users' behalf
  • Continuously document and optimize technical procedures
  • Set up working space for users with various layouts based on their needs
  • Being on call in case of major production issues

Requirements: 

  • College degree or equivalent certifications
  • 1-3 years of experience helpdesk/desktop support position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to patiently help others solve technical issues
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office365 products
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating system
  • Experience with ticketing platforms, Jira preferred
  • Experience with asset management
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Basic hardware knowledge of laptops, desktops and servers
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Nice to have:

  • A+, Network+, Jira experience, ConnectWise experience, basic Linux understanding, ability to troubleshoot basic network issues (routing and switching)

We Offer:  

The Base Salary Range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.

We are requiring new employees to be in the office 5 days per week.
