We're in search of an SRE Engineer to become part of our team, dedicated to maintaining the stability and scalability of our platform. We operate with a sense of ownership and responsibility, and we're seeking an Engineer who aligns with this mindset. If you're passionate about ensuring the stability and scalability of our platform and are eager to take ownership of the SRE function at SwissBorg, we want you on board.
 
Our engineering team embraces a robust DevOps culture, where you will be involved in working on internally and externally facing services, improving perfecting operations and ultimately scaling the system for the next Bull Run.

Closely collaborating with development, product and marketing teams you will be closely involved in all aspects of the company's life aimed at providing the best service to our community members.

Observability: Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Open-telemetry
CI/CD stack: GitOps, Gitlab, ArgoCD
Networking: Certificate management, DNS



You will:
  • Eagerly dive into learning opportunities and smoothly adapt in a fast-paced environment. You'll be exposed to various technologies and tools, but you will also receive the guidance and space you need to grow
  • Be part of a close-knit SRE team where we communicate openly, support each other, and grow together
  • Contribute to the expansion and maintenance of a self-healing system with high availability and scalability for SwissBorg products
  • Ensure the health of all environments by monitoring technical and business metrics, setting up alerts to prevent disasters, and acting fast and effectively when they happen
  • Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines
  • Work effectively in a team environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA and platform teams to achieve common goals
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for production services and respond promptly to emergency events 
  • Actively participate in incident response impacting multiple teams -- clearly understanding and communicating what is going on, the next steps, and participate in post mortems



We're looking for:
  • Analytical thinker with a knack for troubleshooting and providing effective solutions
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Git and monitoring
  • Strong communicator adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to express your ideas clearly, mostly written, and defend them if need be
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge and learn from others with a cross-cultural team
  • Flexible mindset, capable of adapting to evolving technologies and dynamic work environments with a good level of autonomy, discipline, and willingness to learn
  • Curiosity and interest in Fintech and the cryptocurrency space
