Junior Software Engineer

Your Role and Impact

HYPR is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to work in an active role in scaling True Passwordless security to millions of end users. Working at HYPR, you will be heavily involved in both our SDK for consumer and employee solutions, the HYPR Mobile application, and will be building strong foundations across security & usability.

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 
• Ability to pick up new languages/frameworks quickly
• 0-1 years commercial iOS native coding experience in Objective-C 
• Swift 0-1 years
• Experience using and integrating third-party libraries a plus
• Experience with UIKit a plus
• Strong CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis 
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues under time pressure 
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions 
• Excellent interpersonal communication with strong verbal / written English skills 
• Experience working in a team based environment and with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence 
• Experience using source control tools such as git. Experience with CI/CD (preferably Gitlab CI), bash/shell scripts
• Good to have: experience using Keychain, experience in Android development

Base Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at HYPR. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other HYPRions. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at HYPR to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
