Junior Software QA Analyst - Computer Vision and Remote Sensing
Job Description
In this role, you will work in a team-oriented environment contributing to the design and implementation of quality assurance solutions for our Python and C++-based satellite image-processing pipeline that automatically creates realistic, textured 3D geometric models of real-world scenes.
Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute manual and automated testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to define a testing vision/test plan with respect to stakeholder goals and customer feedback
- Implement a quality assurance plan for our satellite image processing product line
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create test cases
- Support code reviews and ensure the team is creating adequate unit, regression, and system tests
- Identify, record, and document findings and create reports
Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications:
- US citizenship is required (green card holders are not eligible for this position)
- Eligibility to apply for and hold a U.S. security clearance (selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment)
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, principles, and methodologies.
- Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages;
- Practical experience in one or more scripting languages; Python preferred
- Practical experience authoring software test functions using test automation frameworks, preferably Python-based
- Experience or familiarity with automating QA processes using a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CICD) platform such as Gitlab
- Demonstrated problem-solving and debugging skills
Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst Education and Experience Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field with 2 years of relevant experience
