Junior Staff Accountant, Hybrid

This position will report into our Palm Beach Gardens office, but will be a hybrid role!

JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for performing an array of accounting services to support the business. This will include reconciliations, issuing check payments, maintaining the integrity of all financials, and supporting the business with month-end close processes.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with an AP specialist to process vendor payments for pre-pay, net payments and as needed basis

• Preparation of financial reports & analysis with required supporting documentation

• Cash Allocation Process daily lockbox check deposits and apply against vendor invoices

• Process check voids/ stale checks and maintain a check log

• Support month end close procedures and reporting

• Assist in year-end financial reviews

• Potential for light collections related to client services pre-pay reconciliations

• Potential for bulk invoicing

• Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related Finance degree preferred.

1-3 years of experience in a professional accounting/finance position.

Proficient in Quickbooks accounting software.

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is a plus.

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Present exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines. Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
