What to Expect in this Position:

• Lead and mentor a team of Research Associates, providing guidance and support
• Ensure the team delivers timely and accurate information to clients regarding legislative and regulatory issues
• Independently review and analyze policy documents to extract relevant information based on client needs
• Identify and analyze U.S. legislation and regulations that align with client interests
• Produce concise and informative U.S. legislative and regulatory summaries
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at FiscalNote
• Communicate effectively and promptly with colleagues and employees at FiscalNote
• Contribute to the documentation of policy areas and client priorities within the team

• A strong interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology
• Fast learning ability and adaptability to new tools and technologies
• Excellent independent research skills
• Ability to understand, analyze, and summarize complex issues concisely and in a timely manner
• Proficiency in synthesizing large volumes of qualitative data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in international affairs or a related discipline is required
• Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship is highly preferred
