Overview
Digital Turbine is hiring a part-time Junior Technical Writer in our Petach Tikva office.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced Technical Writers and subject matter experts to create clear and concise documentation for our products and services.
As a Junior Technical Writer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while further developing your writing and technical skills.
About the Role:
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to understand technical concepts and products
Create and update user guides, manuals, tutorials, and other technical documentation
Create, review, and edit documentation, step-by-step videos, screenshots, and diagrams for internal and external use, related to products, system capabilities, features, technical integrations and implementations, etc.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all written materials, adhering to established style guidelines and industry standards
Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support documentation projects
Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation templates, style guides, and processes
Master company products and technologies hands-on to support documentation processes
Collaborate with engineers to produce technical blog articles
About you

• Ability to work 80% (four days per week from the office ); relevant also for students who can work these hours
• Native-level written and spoken English communication skills
• Graduated or currently enrolled in a degree program in Technical Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for technology and a working knowledge of different software packages and environments
• Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and technical concepts
• Familiarity with HTML or Markdown
• Experience authoring content for the web in a professional capacity will be an advantage in this role
