Job Summary:

We are seeking an Junior Test Automation Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. An ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation of functional, regression and smoke test cases for web and mobile applications. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document, and maintain automated functional test cases and other test artifacts, including test data and data verification.
• Build automation framework and re-usable automation tests/test scripts using Selenium.
• Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments with a focus on continuous testing and DevOps processes.
• Analyze requirements and technical design documents for use cases/user stories, create test cases, and perform impact analysis on the existing framework.
• Analyze and resolve automation-related problems by coordinating with the team to diagnose and fix issues.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Experience working with Selenium/Java, JavaScript, TestNG, Jasmine, Cucumber, Jenkins CI/CD, SOAP UI
• Hands-on experience with API Testing
• Proficient with Core Java and J2EE technicalities
• Experience in developing test scripts and automation frameworks using Selenium.
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum methodology.

Education/Experience Level:

• Three (3) years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance in functional, regression, system integration (SIT), user acceptance (UAT), Usability, Section 508 compliance, security, and performance/stress testing, as well as data-validation, browser, and operating system (OS) compatibility testing.
• Three (3) years of experience in building automation framework and re-usable automation test scripts using Selenium.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Design, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline required
